Between the areas of Agios Stefanos Avliotes (west side - there is another one on the east side of Corfu) and Agios Georgios Pagon the coastal settlement of Arillas, with its renowned and stunning beach, is to be found. It is located 33 km from the Corfu town and is an ideal destination for those who love peace, quiet and seclusion.

The village is strip developed along the characteristic, Blue Flag awarded, golden beach. It is an extensive beach comprising sand and pebble spots. Despite the tourism it has remained unchanged.

The beach is famous for its natural beauty, crystal clear waters, amazing sunsets, and fine golden sand that are perfect especially for families with young children. The friendly atmosphere, the beautiful well-known sunsets, the magnificent scenery, and the Corfiot colors which can be found everywhere around, leave to the visitors unforgettable "pictures" and the wish to come back. Several food establishments and free parking area can be found on the beach.

Towards the end of the beach it's the nudists spot. It's secluded though, without visibility.  

CORFU BEER-ARILLAS brewery

Proud to be home town to Corfu’s very own micro-brewery and possibly the only live ale brewery in Greece. The owners of Corfu Beer are committed to produce real ale and promote it as an organic product. In taste we can assure you it is up there with some of the best Belgian live beers. The factory in Arillas is open to all visitors and welcomes the tasting of all four beers they produce. Every October the area runs it's own "October Fest" with plenty of local beer combined with other breweries that arrive under invitation for the festival. The event is the largest on north Corfu and many visitors pass by to taste authentic fresh beers. 

Public transportaiton to Arillas only with green buses but needs over an hour. Taxi will cost a fortune (approx 100 per way). Rent a car, especially if oyu are visiting off season (May or Octber rates are quite low).
