Aghios Gordis beach is yet another of Corfu's west beaches that has crystal clear water, and is well - known for its beautiful scenery and lively beach bars. It is possible to hire sunbeds and umbrellas for about 6-7 Euros per person for the whole day. You will need shoes for the beach - it gets very hot underfoot. Water sports and pedalo hiring can be found on the beach as well as a wide selection of restaurants and fast food establishments.
Car parking can be quite a challenge especially if you go in the afternoon (4-5Euro for the day) and we wouldn't suggest to get there on a motorbike unless you are an experienced driver. The last couple of kilometers though are of great beauty as you need to get down the hill which overlooks the bay in a very green scenery consisted by olive groves and cypresses. On the way to Agios Gordis (as pronounced in local) it is worth visiting the 'Aerostato' (balloon) in Sinarades village which has amazing view of the bay.
Agios Gordis is a great choice for Corfu holidays regardeless if you are with family of friends. The sandy beach has almost everything you need but keep in mind that the sea here is a bit wavy even when not windy.
The resort has a couple of big 4* hotels that operate on an all-inclusive basis and many standard and superior studios and apartments, mostly built on the hill, offering great sea views and beautiful sunsets.
