Corfu "Sofrito" was voted among world's best dishes with beef. 

Sofrito took the 12th place on the list with best dishes made with beef or veal. You can try it only in Corfu in traditional restaurants. 

Sofrito is consisted of tender cuts of beef or veal that are lightly dredged in flour and then slowly sauteed in sauce based on garlic, white wine, parsley and vinegar.

The name Sofrito has Italian origin and means sautee, it was inspired by Venetians who were ruling the island for centuries.
